120 Days of Sodom? I've never heard of that...and it seems like that's a good thing.

I still say people buy and sell drugs out of desperation; it really has very little do with exploitation. People buy because they're desperate for either something to do, a way to fit in or a way to wash away troubles. People sell drugs because they're >that< desperate for money.

Come to think of it, if what adides says about most of the money going to the big bosses is true (I have zero clue if it is or not), then said big bosses are either so consumed by riches that they're desperate for more money and would lead a network of drug dealers because they have no other way of getting any, or they're simply using their position as the rich to exploit the poor peddlars who need something to live off of.

There probably aren't too many examples of poor exploiting the rich, because the poor simply don't have as much opportunity. This may also be unrelated but: prior to the American Civil War, slaves on plantations would work slowly and haphazardly as a form of passive protest against their masters. The masters would simply assume the slaves were lazy and thus lose out on the fullest potential they could produce.

ooh...
yay! the annoying ad-stream ad is GONE!
