| Funny that no one has commented here. I think I read some suggestions regarding travel elsewhere on CC, though. We don't live in the South, but are using air transportation, with airports located in areas that can be snowy and icy. We have tried to anticipate travel delays by scheduling departures early on the day BEFORE an audition to allow for some (limited) options for getting there. We're hoping everyone can be flexible, since we can't control the weather and transportation system!
