| Lazard It's interview week at UChicago, and I have 1st round interviews at BCG, UBS (I-banking), Lazard, Bain & Co. and Goldman Sachs (Investment Research) so far (only 1/2 of the interview decisions have come in yet).
The BCG & UBS interviews didn't go so well (i.e. I did alright, but I didn't perform spectacularly), so I'm not holding out hope for 2nd round interviews from them. The Lazard (M&A at NYC) interview went well, and I really enjoyed the conversation and think that I have a good chance at a 2nd round interview offer. I just wanted to ask: How is Lazard perceived on the Street? Is it easy to jump from Lazard M&A to Goldman M&A or Blackstone M&A? How about to Blackstone PE arm or other divisions at Goldman?
P.S. Goldman Investment Research is probably out of my reach, and I'm not sure how much I want Bain & Co. right now. |
