| Congratulations, lstarrsmith! You betcha that Honors Program acceptance is a thing to be proud of! Go over to the main UNC-CH forum and look for a recent thread about UNC Scholarships and Honors for more info. UNC only offers Honors slots to about 200 incoming freshmen. You should be very proud of yourself!
My older son is a junior at UNC and wasn't offered Honors admission, but he applied to and was accepted into the program in January of his freshman year and has really enjoyed and benefited from the experience. It's a terrific program!
My younger son just got into UNC EA, too, like you, but hasn't heard anything from Honors, so if he chooses to go to UNC, maybe he'll go the Honors route his brother took. :-)
