| okay so here's my WONDERFUL muhlenberg experience: flew into Newark and was going to take a bus to ABE airport since Continental doesn't fly there but I missed the bus because it left 30 mins prior to departure!! The lady at the desk was very rude and said to just deal with it and take a later (evening) bus. My dad and I decided to just drive. It was a beautiful drive!!!!!! And I have to say the location of allentown is great because it's not too terribly far from NYC. I had the best southern Italian food in my life, so if anyone is out in allentown head to Bilissimos (sp?). It was amazing. The next morning I had a meeting with Charles Richter, the head of the theatre/dance department and he took me on a tour and spoke about MT there. I loved it because it's very flexible to take the classes needed to have a career in MT. The facilities are just wonderful! I also found out about a study abroad acting program and Tuscany that sounded just amazing. He also said that the classes were very intense and said it is up to par with conservatories. He also said right now there is either a jazz or tap instructor that was in the original cast of A Chorus Line. I was really impressed by that. He also said that the tap there is top notch. All in all, I was blown away by the program and decided after my interview w/admissions that I was changing my regular decision to early decision. It's a beautiful campus with wonderful opportunities and I hope I get in!!! if anyone has anymore questions, I will try to help. |
