| A few questions about frost school of music @ UMiami So,
to begin,
I am reauditioning in 9 days at UMiami for vocal performance and I am probably more excited than when I first went overseas. haha. I mean, I just want to get in.
Last year, I did get in and chose regretfully not to go. This year, if I can get in again, I'd love to go. I had no idea of its reputation until months after (I hadn't ever heard of the program until about a month before I auditioned.)
Now, I will be down there for a few days after my audition, do you think I should sample a lesson with a teacher? I've heard so many people say this is highly advised and almost vital to choosing a school for a voice major? If so, does anybody have recommendations on who would be a good tenor voice teacher? (I've already looked up Dr. Alt.)
Also, I guess as I said before, Frost's program really is highly regarded, but...how much so? Is it just a *good* program or is it as highly regarded as other conservatories like BoCo? I guess it doesn't matter since it has the same curriculum, and the give $$ in the end LOL.
Thank y'all for reading this! |
