I know that there have been some discussions about this on another thread, but I have not heard of anyone, who was interested in attending, completed & submitted their application for CMU's summer program and did not get in.

NMR - I know your D attended this program last year. Did they give you any indication that they turn a lot of people down?

I think that this program may be selective in that, like others, it is pretty costly and intensive, and so it may automatically weed out those people who are only looking for a "mini vacation that includes some acting training, a dance class here or there, and a bit of singing"
