Well, if you play no instruments, and I assume that includes voice?, then you will need to become proficient enough to pass the audition. However, though I have no experience with this, I've gotten the impression that the music business majors have lower expectations in their auditions, but I really don't know. I'm pretty sure that there is a major in music business but contact the admissions office and ask. I don't know about the recital b/c that is probably referring to your A level, but I didn't know/think that music business majors had to pass that, but I have no idea. Again, most of these questions would be best directed to the admissions office or the dean of Crane, Alan Soloman, whose email is found on the website for crane...potsdam.edu/crane. Another option for you if you really want to go and aren't proficient on any instrument is to go to potsdam, take lessons with an instructor at crane, and then reaudition later. I know students who auditioned for other programs that weren't accepted that went to potsdam, took lessons, and then reauditioned and were accepted. However, if you aren't proficient, it may take some more time...best of luck to you and feel free to pm me if you have any more questions.
