| very slow at prescreening!
My S was accepted at the University in December. He sent all his materials to Jacobs by the deadline (12/1) with his audition date request for 2/28-3/1. He didn't want to email them for the longest time (thought it would be bad luck), but finally he emailed them about 3 weeks ago asking simply if his application was missing something and they replied that they were in the process of scheduling auditions for that weekend and would send his date and time soon. We assumed this was an indication that he was screened in - a correct assumption. Nevertheless, we heard nothing more for another 10 days when I emailed on 2/18 (2 weeks before the audition dates). They emailed right back giving the date and time. Over the weekend, the letter came in the mail postmarked 2/13. I am glad to hear that they are organized when you finally get there, but it has been a little hairy waiting this all out for so long since it is my son's first choice. If you haven't heard from them about that weekend, I suggest emailing them at once!!! |
