My dd auditioned at Oberlin last weekend on oboe. We checked in early Saturday am and received her audition time. We saw at least 7 oboists there to audition that day. They gave a welcome talk and then a financial aid presentation (mostly for parents). There were plenty of practice rooms. Auditions were scheduled 15 minutes apart. You were to report outside the oboe room 15 minutes before your scheduled time. Only Mr. Klein was there and she felt it was a very relaxed and comfortable audition. She really liked him a lot. The theory test was done on-line from home. They sent a link in an email. Nancy
