| My nieces go on mission trips to various places with other kids. They run a bible school or do some other sort of work. They have to come up with the money to do it (jobs/sponsors/donations from family). The cost is similar.
If you are going to travel to volunteer, someone has to pay for it.
If you like traveling, learning about another culture, and spending time volunteering, and can come up with the $$, sounds good to me. And I would feel secure with Concordia Language Villages. A couple of my kids have attended their camps. |
