| I love Elon! I applied in the fall Early Action, and was accepted with a small presidental scholarship. Ever since I visited in the fall, there has not been one school that I've come close to loving as much as Elon. I auditioned for the MT program yesterday, and am anxious to hear back. That said, I know it's extremely hard to make it into the program, and if I don't, I'm still attracted to the school itself. I read a couple pages of the thread, but wasn't able to read all 27. I wanted to know if anyone knew how much harder or easier (if at all) it is to re-audition during your sophomore year for the MT program, after being rejected the first time? I'm considering doing this if I don't get in. I don't have any MT back up schools because I didn't decide far enough in advance to plan out various auditions for schools. I already auditioned at one other MT school and got rejected. And the only other "possible" MT school doesn't require an audition for the theatre program, but you have to be accepted at the school (which is very academically challenging) and then audition as a sophomore for their MT "certificate program." I love their program, but I'm not keeping my hopes up do to the fact that it's so academically challenging to get in.
I've been drawn to Elon ever since I walked on the campus; it's so charming and beautiful. It's almost too perfect. and I would love nothing more than to study MT there. I really can't see myself studying anything else, anywhere else. Does anyone have any thoughts? |
