| My son attended a very nice music program for 2 years in high school - Musicorda. It was small and focused mostly on chamber music. It, too, folded. I think that a number of these programs get funding from a dynamic leader. Once the leader moves on to other things or retires, there is no one to really fill the void. That was certainly the case with Musicorda. I think that Encore has been around long enough and has a strong enough reputation that it will be back. |
