im taking macro right now and was thinking about self-studying for micro so i can hopefully test out of it next year. however, from what i've heard self-studying for micro is going to take a lotta work....

is it really worth it to try and get ECON001 and ECON002 out of the way? do you get an advantage by being in a higher class/testing out of it? any advice would be appreciated.
