| Funny, small world. I do know that girl's name only because my D has mentioned how talented she is. I will keep my fingers crossed for your D. I know as a parent how much it means to see our children happy. While I am a college counselor and try to volunteer to help out, I really am a mom who is posting as well. I totally understand what everyone is feeling in this process. I am literally shaking at the moment since my older D just called with astonishing admissions news and seeing her dreams realized is a feeling that is indescribable! But let me say that even the acceptances she received in the last few days before the ones today, felt awesome and lucky and were good enough. Getting into top schools is like a cherry on top but frankly, getting in anywhere is enough. |
