| I don't know, guys. Too many factors and for the most part, responses have been from people in high school. I don't know if anyone feels the same way, but I had a friend who judged a girl for smoking pot just because he felt he couldn't do the same. Being raised to believe all drugs were bad just because they were illegal (you think kids in Amsterdam care if you condemn their lifestyle?), thinking alcohol was stupid (do you think Germans are stupid for letting 16-year olds drink?)... he was a bit of an overachiever, really. Working, studying his arse off, he was a bit jealous that some kids were getting high and smoking and having the time of their lives. He wasn't the kind of guy who was able to let loose and just ended up condemning the drugs.
Personally, I don't care. I think it's lame to judge others based on something you haven't tried before. I mean really, how many of the people judging have actually tried smoking? And I don't mean "I took a puff of that cigarette and man it was bad!"
Either way, I've used drugs and do them occasionally. I drink and I smoke cigarettes. It's all in moderation though, and as long as people keep it that way I don't see why they're being judged for it. I tend to think of myself as a nice guy, laid-back, friendly... the people who were firmly against drugs and alcohol seemed scary and stuck-up.
You don't judge us for using. We don't judge you for judging. It seems like a fair deal.
