I have to tell you: I thought travelling around with my D as she did all her auditions was stressful, but this waiting part is worse (as a friend had warned me)! There's that build up of tension before the letter carrier arrives and then, when he doesn't bring anything, a sense of disappointment followed by relief for a few hours and then -- wham!
