The NYU/Tisch decision is her overall admissions decision, half based on academics and half on artistic review and so we are kinda comparing apple to oranges. Also, I do not believe that the Tisch invitation to Saturday in the Square is ONLY to the top 10%. I truly think MORE than that get invited. Remember, too, that to selective schools like Elon and NYU, it goes beyond just SAT scores and GPA but rather is a wholistic look at many factors, and not just numbers. There are recommendations, essays, rigor of courseload, extracurricular activities and achievements and so forth. |
