| transfering Based on what I've been able to find, it seems as if most schools do not allow architecture courses to transfer from one school to another. This basically leads me to believe that once you've selected a school you basically need to finish there and cannot transfer into an arch program at a different school.
For example, for financial reasons my son may need to go to Bufallo which is only a 4 year program. Lets assume finances change and he wants to try to transfer to Cornell's 5 year program (I'm only using this as an example, I'm not even sure if cornell allows arch credits to transfer) after the first year. If his studio classes aren't accepted, how does he fill the extra two semesters of studio. Would he have to complete 5 years at that point?? Are studios offered in the summer?
Has anyone transfered from one arch program to another?? What schools and how did they treat transfer of studio credits?? |
