| You are very inspiring. I have not recieved a decision from my first choice college yet , but if i do get wait-listed, i have a plan on what i will do to try gaining admittance. I would first visit the college, take a tour, and ask to sit in on a lecture or class. These little things get recorded in my file and would prove to the admissions committee that I am serious and truly want to go to this school. I would also try to talk to an admissions counselor, rather than send the school an e-mail. I'd talk to the counselor about how much I love the school and how honored I would be to attend it. I'd give them a written copy of this too, just in case they forgot about our little interview. If you can't speak to a counselor, then the letter should do fine. It's easy for me though, because this college is only 30 minutes away. |
