I hear you about wanting to make plans. We are on Spring Break this week. SO are two of S's top choices. Fat lot of good that does. The other two top choices haven't made decisions yet and involve air travel. No point in springing for plane tickets without a decision, esp since S wants to return to interrogate profs and advisors once he has a 'yes' in hand.
Meanwhile, we are blowing a week that could have been productive. The attendance people are going to be miserable and snarly when we pull him out for visits.
