Teacher Recs: Not sure what to compare them to (read one, and it was good, but don't know how good); neither was bad though.
Counselor Rec: at least okay; my counselor knew enough about me to write more than a generic letter, and I know it was a positive rec, but I don't know how it would compare to others

Advice? Commiserations? Feel like bragging?: Disappointed that I didn't get in, but at least I didn't get rejected; I'm going to try to send in new material, etc. Hopefully a supplemental/new essay (my Chicago one that I wrote after I sent in the common app) if that's allowed, plus a statement of continued interest, etc. Hopefully this means I still have a chance at some of my other reach schools.
