| The buildings, including the dorms, are exactly the same. There is no sense of community in either college, unlike all the other colleges which have been around longer and have developed identities. I've been in the College 9 dorms for almost two years now and the people are generally either jocks, Asian, or just plain ordinary people with no strong stereotype against them. I am just describing what I have experienced so don't take my word 100%.
If housing location is important to you, pick College 9 over 10. The walk up the hill is a bit longer but if you're lucky, you'll get a room with a view of the forest. College 9 is nicer if you like peace and quiet. Frankly, a lot of people here are boring compared to the other colleges; I've had several friends move to the older colleges since they are much more happenin'. If you plan to spend a lot of time alone in a nice--albeit rather drab--housing environment, College 9/10 is for you. |
