Waitlisted...

I was hoping to get accepted to one of the top ranked schools I applied to but it hasn't happened. I applied to 5 and so far have gotten 1 rejection (MIT -

- this was my first choice) and 3 waitlists (JH, Stanford, Caltech). Considering that the decision I am still waiting on is Harvard, I am not getting my hopes up.

Are colleges waitlisting a lot more people this year?
