| Decision:Waitlisted??? Stats:- SAT: didn't send
- SAT IIs: didn't send
- ACT: 33
- GPA: 3.55 uw, 4.5 w
- Rank: school doesn't rank
- Other stats: National Merit Finalist, Four year varsity tennis mvp and #1 singles, two year varsity captain, Maryland Distinguished Scholar, over 500 hours of community service, worked 2 jobs all of high school totalling over 30 hours a week
Subjective:- Essays: surprisingly good, I used part of my commonapp essay but related it to my religious faith
- Teacher Recs: only sent one which was very good
- Counselor Rec: terribly generic
- Hook (if any): female engineering, grandfather went there, tennis recruit (coach saw me play and we emailed, I didn't commit though obviously)

- major strength/weakness: only real weakness is gpa
- why you think you were accepted/rejected/defered: no idea. I am so glad that I was accepted elsewhere before I had to deal with this though. I'm completely fine with it and not going to accept my waitlist spot because I'm deciding between two other schools, but I might have died if I had gotten this first because I thought I had a real good shot.
