| Waitlist spots are pretty sporadic so they could admit as many as 100 people (max I see is 95 in 2003). I don't think it'll be 0 again this year. Just by judging the atomsphere here at CC I can see a lot of admits have plans elsewhere too. As long as long as <1700 people enroll you waitlist people have some chances.
To answer the questions above, as waitlisters you don't *need* to do anything other than send in the reply card and wait at this point. You could always improve your slim slim chances by sending in updates/final transcripts etc but realistically it's better to use your energy elsewhere. Even if people decided to mass boycott Stanford this year your chances will not be > 10%. |
