Subjective:
  • Essays: I pretty much wrote about my accomplishments then mentioned why I liked Notre Dame and talked VERY briefly about ND's RESOUND program.
  • Teacher Recs: All great, positive recommendations (I chose the most positive teachers ^_^)
  • Counselor Rec: Never saw it
  • Hook (if any): Father is an alumni
Location/Person:
  • State or Country: Texas
  • School Type: small private christian school
  • Ethnicity: asian
  • Gender: female
  • Denomination: baptist
  • major strength/weakness: My strengths, hmm...well I work very hard and pretty much never get tired mentally and weakness, I absolutely am terrible at sports. Little fun fact about me: I always pray before I take a big exam. It helps a lot!
  • why you think you were accepted: Well, I really have no idea. My class rank doesn't say much since my school is so small but my SAT scores and extracurriculars weren't bad. My father attending there probably helped too, but he never donated to ND. More importantly, though, and I believe this is totally true, it was all the Lord's doing.
  • going to attend? ABSOLUTELY
  • Other Factors: I've been accepted to Baylor Univ, Texas Lutheran Univ, Trinity Univ, Austin College, and now ND. I've been waitlisted at Rice Univ and rejected at Johns Hopkins...go figure. Anyways, if anyone else is enrolling at ND and is from TX then PM me! I wish everyone the best of luck getting in!
