| jbrown: non-majors are always encouraged to audition for main stage productions. we had a number of people outside the department show up for phantom and many read sides or were asked to sing more. one extremely talented voice major was part of the final callback process for carlotta!
peggysawyer: acting majors are welcome to take as many dance classes as possible. as far as voice lessons go, it is totally feasible. although, i am pretty sure that acting majors are limited to thirty minutes per lesson as opposed to the full hour that musical theatre majors get. |
