Yes, CUA is in the Brookland section of NE DC, happycollegemom. I hear this area may be tough but the campus itself is very safe and the Metro is right there. One of my D's other top choices was Fordham, also located in what some would consider a tough neighborhood. Certainly students on any urban campus need to be smart and aware but the city is where my D wants to be. Of course, talk to me after we visit next week and see if I still feel the same way! I appreciate your opinion hcm, as I have seen from other posts that your D is thriving at AU

Khipper~ I actually read about that poll somewhere not too long ago and I must say it made me smile.

Did your friend receive notice of an additonal scholarship, dennis? or is this her first notification of financial aid? We received our FA package over a week ago.
