Reflection
  • Strengths: rigorous course load
  • Weaknesses: lack of leadership in extra-currics
  • Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: I think I had fairly good stats and solid essay and recs so that's why they didn't out-right reject me but my decent extra-currics and just the competitiveness of the applicant pool and low admittance rate this year meant I got wait-listed
General Comments: Congratulations to all those accepted! I was surprised to even get wait-listed and actually don't feel too bad about it because I applied to Harvard for my mom and always thought I'd enjoy it more for grad school. For those wait-listed or not accepted, please don't be too hard on yourself.

I think we'll all end up going where we're meant to be and I don't plan on staying on the waiting list but have decided to attend University of Pittsburgh.
