| Dramamama....while your D will have to commit to another school by May 1, should she get off a wait list after May 1 (which is usually when any wait list movement occurs), she can enroll at the wait list school and forfeit her deposit at the original school. This is how wait lists work and schools expect this to happen. She does not need to hear from her wait list school prior to May 1 (though it would be nice) and it is uncommon to get an offer off a wait list prior to May 1 just so you know (at any school). |
