I have been waitlisted and I am really sad about it
I went to the DivOH weekend and I thought I had a really strong application (in a way I still think my application is very strong), but apparently Amherst didn't think I was the right "fit" enough. I also think it has to do with the fact that I am international.
But I am determined to still try and hopefully get off the waitlist. Do you guys/amherst students (espeically those who got off the waitlist) have any suggestions? Any points specifically? I know that I really just have to show Amherst that it is my #1 choice, but there are certain ways to approach it.
