| Hi,
we just visited over break and yes PP is located in the center of downtown Pittsburg. Very close to everything. We arranged a visit with admissions and the MT Dept. our son viewed 3 classes, we talked to his admission person and fin. aid person. We took a tour. And were treated to lunch in the Caf...
We recieved 4 comp tickets to see PP production of Assassin's and thought it was a great show and really cast well. The dorms were very small and old. . we found everyone very helpful. All of there productions are off campus at a Theater a few miles away but they have a bus that goes back and forth continually. The bus driver was very nice and helpful. The dance class was very intense...no slackers allowed...They had a health office available on site too. The buildings are connected so in the winter there is no need to go outside.
We enjoyed the school and felt if this is the school our son picks it's OK with us. However, It seems like he is leaning a different direction. But, if a city school is what you are looking for PP seems like a good choice. We especially liked it after seeing Assassins...the kids were really talented and it impressed us and our son... I don't know why but we weren't expecting such a great show...with such wonderful acting and voices.
Keep trying to contact the MT Dept about viewing Classes and contact admissions about a tour. |
