| I feel almost guilty writing this, after reading all these stories, but it doesn't change the situation.
Situation is this: D found out today she is in NYU Stella Adler studio. She got rejected from her top choices of schools. She is waitlisted at Boco, accepted to Point Park (and UC Irvine, which she does not want to do).
we are going to Saturday in the Square tomorrow and then spending another few days in NY doing a NYU tour, and talking with students we know there, etc.
Then will have to make a decision. She originally wanted a good MT program, a strong academic program, a campus with real community/college feel. Now she has to figure out what will be best for her.
I know we will discover information this weekend at NYU, but we could really use some guidance/perspective here. Will she be able to still study voice and dance if in Stella Adler studio? Will she get "better" training at Boco, if she can get off waitlist? Will Point Park even be better alternative in this case?
