My son is going to college in September. Next week my husband and I are taking him there for a preview and at the same time meeting (for dinner) with a former school mate of my husband's. His wife cannot make it. But I want to ask him if he can be available in an emergency.
I know the schools have medical facilities. Does anyone know what happens if a student gets sick? Say if they have the flu for 3 -4 days or a fever? Of course I would take him home if he can travel. But what if he can't? Does the school notify the parent if the student doesn't? Where do they stay while they are sick?
I guess I am obsessing here but I would like to know. |
