It is up to the student to notify you about illness, per HIPAA regulations.
Unless the student requires hospitalization, the student stays in the dorm or wherever he/she normally lives.
Sounds harsh, I know, but S has had minor illness a few times since starting college in 06, and it has been OK. Send OTC meds for colds, fever, etc. so he has what he needs for the normal illnesses. |
