| If you're okay with going to a CC, you don't have to do FPF. Commuting to CC is a lot cheaper. You're kinda missing out on being at Berkeley though, but again, if you're okay with that, it's fine. You won't "fall behind" as long as you take some breadth requirements and keep up with prereqs.
I think FPF is quite a bit easier than Berkeley courses, and you can pretty easily get a 3.8-4.0 if you put in the effort (can't say the same about on-campus courses). Having the cushion is nice, but you still have to put in a lot of effort. |
