College Discussion - View Single Post - Way to combine music & sports in a major or career?

My d has 2 very different passions: music (drumline) and athletics (swimming primarily, but has participated in several other sports.)

She has been successful in both areas and unfortunately as she's begun looking at colleges/universities, she's convinced herself that she has to choose between the 2 areas for a major, and ultimately -- a career. And this depresses her......

Any ideas or suggestions on how she could combine the two passions (don't care how crazy it may seem at this point.)

We need to get her to start thinking "outside the box" and thought someone here might have some ideas on where to look.
