| Re: packing cookies & brownies -- if I'm feeling lazy or trying to get the goodies shipped out in a hurry, I use the disposable plastic containers, with wax paper all around so they don't rattle around. But, since D has very little storage space and can't really use any more containers, I've also had great success with taking a stack of 4-6 cookies/brownies and wrapping them in plastic wrap. I end up with a bunch of these little packets, which I put in a larger box along with whatever else I'm sending her. The real key is to pack the box absolutely full with newsprint, bubble wrap, or whatever so stuff doesn't roll around and break. (We moved about 18 months ago, so have TONS of packing material.) I use UPS since I know for sure it's 2 days to D's school by ground. |
