| I wouldn't give up on Parson's. It's an odd year - I think more people this year, because of the way the economy is going, are rethinking the wisdom of taking huge loans for art degrees (or any degree for that matter), and may end up choosing an art degree at their local State U or choose whichever art school is offering the most money in scholarships, rather than their first choice or best fit. In addition, with home equity shrinking and the stock market down, parents just have less cash now than they had just six months ago, and may not want to tap it in a down market. And, there will be people who just decide to play it safe and study nursing instead.
So, all in all, I predict that wait list you're on being tapped. Let the office know you're still VERY interested and keep updating them with any new portfolio-quality work. |
