| Believe it or not, we got our first car with power windows two years ago. My kids still are not used to not having to roll down the window.
We also have a long curly phone cord in the kitchen. It's nice to have one phone that never needs recharging.
My H collects manual typewriters--he has three now and uses them to write letters. Luddites R Us.
I always told the kids, when watching Oz, how I didn't know it turned to color till I was much older, and they always rolled their eyes. Sometimes I'll refer to an "album" that they also like but know only as a CD, and refer to the Side Two songs (for instance--Side 2 of Joshua Tree has all the less well known songs.)
Again, rolled eyes, and sighs. |
