| I am a sophomore musical theater major at UArts...my roommate is an acting major and I am very familiar with the program. I can't give you any opinions about CCPA, but I can say that the training in the acting program at UArts is excellent. We receive intense Meisner training sophomore year. In addition, there are many stage combat opportunities and people can get certified at the end of their four years. We do various styles of plays. Acting majors also take movement classes, voice and speech, acting for camera senior year, dialects...I'm happy to answer specific questions if you have any! Also, Philadelphlia is a wonderful city to be in because we're on S. Broad Street where ALL the shows are and that's amazing to be a part of that! |
