| Those with time, money, and transportation can sign up for SAT Preparation courses outside of regular school. Other than that, one can buy a review book and study by themselves. There are other small recourses... online questions and material, for examples.
Some teachers give some good advice on doing the SAT. I had a particular teacher in 10th Grade for Geometry who got one of his children to get above a 1400 on the SAT by raising their math scores in a short time (which was important to obtain a certain Florida scholarship); he would give us practice sections of the PSAT (a smaller version of the SAT not used for college admission) in class and prepare us in other ways.
