| Go to UT, definitely. It's a MUCH better deal financially, and UT is considered a really good school (especially the honors program). Plus, you'd have the benefit of football games and a real campus vibe.
Honestly, aside from Stern, NYU really isn't better than any other school (its reputation is inflated because of its location). Unless you're going for business, NYU just isn't worth paying twice as much.
Also, the whole "NY has more opportunities" thing is false. The cities with the best job markets right now actually the cities in the south (think Atlanta, Houston, Austin, even Charleston). |
