2boysinma - Thanks for that suggestion, but I would feel funny putting boxes of candy on a platter like that, although I do understand what you are saying. I can't imagine that the bf's family is that strict - from what D says, they don't stick to the Passover rules more than a few days. I am from LI, so I am familiar with the Passover aisles in the supermarkets and other stores. I would buy a prepared platter, but just prefer to make one up myself.
