I think that college should be a place to discuss and be exposed to ideas that come from a different perspective.
They however, need to be presented in a way that is thoughtful and not in your face.
I think that vandals should be punished whatever their political views, does your school not have an honor code or student judicial board?
Are you looking for alternative college suggestions or what are you asking?
There are colleges that are more moderate- but depending on your major you may run into more liberal profs.
