| FAFSA was required by Feb. 15, if I remember correctly. Scholaships came later, there were several letters, and it might be more $$ after you indicate to them that you are plannig to attend. We filed FAFSA because Miami said to file even if you know that you are not eligible for need based, and we are by far not eligible. We filed already for next year and plan to file every year that D. is at Miami. It sounds that FA office might use it for purpose that you describe to make sure there is no eligibility for need based before they give you academic. My husband said FASFA was not big deal, I am no judge, I did not do it. |
