Aunt Bea -- I think something was screwy with BU this year: my D also had the stats for their "merit" awards as advertised on their site and we have a very high EFC. What happens? They give her 8K in NEED-BASED aid (??!!) but no merit. BU was not really in the running after she got into her more preferred schools.
