We arrived yesterday to look around before accepted students day on Saturday. Had the Marion Knott Studios tour yesterday....very cool. Today we meet with an academic advisor, do the campus and residence hall tour, and go over to Cal State Fullerton to talk to the ROTC people.
We went out to Newport Beach late yesterday afternoon to check that out. S says he's definitely going to learn to surf. :-)
It really is amazingly beautiful here. The only bad thing is the hotel. Don't EVER stay at the Days Inn. No water in the hot tub (they advertised they had a pool), no breakfast as was advertised, broken ice machine, and to top it off....INSTANT COFFEE in the lobby! Searching now for a hotel we can move to. |
