You need to understand that, to many, supporting the denial of rights to gays is disrespect. To many, denying women choices relating to their bodies is disrespect. It doesn't just mean name calling. People who disagree on these issues rarely have dispassionate conversations. I think you probably need to be in a place that is more socially conservative. |
